Vision Mechatronics launched Graphene Battery at The Battery Show

“In the market, every year, you get to see some new technology related to batteries. Better batteries are made from the technology that is already present in the market, so that it can replace the battery of the old technology. For example, earlier, lead-acid batteries were used the most in the market. But when lithium batteries entered the market, their advantages were much more than lead-acid batteries.

The biggest problem with lead-acid batteries is maintenance. Lithium batteries do not require any kind of maintenance. And lithium batteries are much lighter in weight and take up much less space compared to lead-acid batteries. However, batteries made from lithium and graphene have also entered the market to make lithium batteries even better.

Batterene – All New Graphene Battery

The Graphene battery has been launched in the market recently. As soon as a new technology battery enters the market, its price is quite high because the company incurs the cost of R&D to make that battery and recovers it by selling the battery. That’s why you see the new technology batteries being quite expensive. But when we look at the benefits of those batteries, we can consider their price right.

Recently, vmechatronics has launched its Graphene battery at The Battery Show, which you might see in the market in the coming months. This battery gives you approximately 10,000 life cycles, which means the life of this battery is about 15 to 20 years. You can use this battery for energy storage systems and electric vehicles.

vmechatronics is already making various ranges of lithium batteries, which are being used in industrial, residential, commercial, and solar systems.

Vision mechatronics battery price in India

The company has not disclosed the price of the recently launched battery yet, but the price of the lithium battery that is coming in the market depends on its capacity.

For example, their Electric Scooter Batteries start at just ₹5000, and the price increases as you go for a bigger battery pack. Similarly, the Lithium Battery of their Joulie series starts at around ₹50000, and the price goes up as you choose a larger battery pack.

Benefits of installing lithium/ Graphene battery

There are many benefits to installing lithium batteries. However, lithium batteries have some special features that make them much better than lead-acid batteries.

1. Size: Speaking of size, lithium batteries are almost 5 times smaller than lead-acid batteries. If there are four lead-acid batteries somewhere, you can replace them with just one lithium battery, saving a lot of space. Similarly, if there is a setup of 10 Lead acid batteries, you can replace them with just one lithium battery.

2. Weight: Lithium batteries are not only smaller in size compared to lead-acid batteries but also much lighter in weight. If there are 4 lead-acid batteries, replacing them with a lithium battery reduces the weight by about 5 times. The weight of four lead-acid batteries is approximately 250 kg, while a lithium battery of the same capacity weighs about 50 kg.

3. Fast Charging: If a lead-acid battery is charged based on its rating, it takes about 10 hours to charge. A lithium battery gets fully charged in about 4 to 5 hours. So, there is a significant power saving in its area. Lithium batteries are ideal for such cases because they get charged very quickly even if there is electricity for a short time.

4. Life: You get about 3000 charge cycles in a lithium battery, which means the battery can last for almost 10 years. On the other hand, the life of a lead-acid battery is about 5 years.

5. Maintenance-Free: In lead-acid batteries, you need to add water regularly. If you forget to add water, your battery can get damaged very quickly. However, you don’t need to add any water to a lithium battery, making it maintenance-free. You can use it without maintenance.

6. No Fumes: Lead-acid batteries emit harmful gases during charging and discharging. Lithium batteries do not emit any gases, making them the safest batteries.

But before buying any battery, make sure that the company’s service is available in your area. If your battery ever goes bad, how does its warranty work? And how much warranty do you get on the battery? Because many companies offer different types of warranties on their batteries, which can confuse customers. So, first, gather all the information about the battery and then buy it.
